Big Island International Marathon
The Big Island International Marathon takes place on the east coast of Hawaii Island. It has a point-to-point course that begins in Pepeekeo Town and proceeds along the coast to the finish line in Hilo. The event usually includes a full 26 mile marathon, a 10 to 13 mile running race, and a walking event and fun run that is usually about 3 miles
Kona Marathon
The Kona Marathon and Family Fun Run takes place on the West side of Hawaii Island. It has an out-and-back course that begins and ends near the Keauhou Beach Resort. Part of the course is on Alii Drive and part of it is on Queen Kaahumanu Highway. The event usually includes a full marathon, a half marathon, and 10 kilometer and 5 kilometer family fun runs.
Volcano Marathon
The Volcano Marathon is an off-road, trail-running, full distance marathon that was held inside Hawaii Volcanoes National Park for 26 years, since the very first event in 1983.
